Guilty Pleasures

As requested by the lovely and talented (Neil Gaiman says so!) Heather:

My top 5 Guilty Pleasures

  • Comics: I drop at least $20 a month on comics, and have been known to spend several hundred dollars in one go on comics. I love these things. They drain my wallet, prevent me from spending my time on important things like, oh, studying, and take up most of my shelf space. They also help inspire me and calm me down.
  • Wine Vodka Booze: There’s nothing quite like unwinding after a long day in a bathtub with a glass of wine. Wine also makes the best of meals at least 5 times better. Good vodka makes my toes wiggle, and is also a fine accompaniment to any meal. In fact, booze offers such a wider selection of flavors than any other beverage that I don’t know how people go without it.
  • Travel: I grew up, as a child, traveling. Now I have people across the country that I’d love to visit. I have neither the time nor the money, but go anyway. Escape is vital to my existance.
  • Control: As I’m sure you’re all painfully aware by now, I like control. I like to know that I can handle any situation, which means running most things. This is a guilty pleasure because as much as I like it, I doubt my friends like this in me. I try to hold back. Just hit me, really.
  • Sleep: As many things as I keep on my plate, as many servings as I insist on dishing to myself, I always end up falling asleep with my nose in the pasta. I would quote The Grapes of Wrath right now, but I don’t know that it would make sense, and I don’t want you all worrying about me.

I tag everyone. I don’t feel like looking through names right now. If you want to, go for it.

Greetings and Salutations. This is Matt…Illinois, atom-splodey Matt. Figured it’s a good time to:

    1) Say hey
    two) steal this miniquiz
thr3e) it’s weird, but right off the bat I can’t really think that, filling this out myself, I’d change any of your choices. Possibly replace booze with emulator SNES – but I could go either way on that – and often go both ways in the course of a week. My, that sounded dirty. Anyway.
