boredom

So I am going into the student health center today to see if I can get in for the panic attacks. Stupid stupid.

There are so many new vocab words for Romanian that I’m going to freak out. ohmygod. Put it this way… I bought a new stack of flashcards.. and now I have 3 left. Yeah.

Corey is wonderful.

I’ve had lovely times with britannica, shannonwho, carpe_jugulum, sougwen, and Mike this past week.

And now, out of boredom,

Look at your LJ “interests” list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of ’em.
List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much

30 days of night: Starting off with a comic book, of course. I loved this one because it was the first new vampire story I had heard in ages. The artwork is just… spooky. High quality, really.
arsenic lullaby: This is in my top 3 as far as comics go (along with Sandman and SCUD). The sick humor gets me every time, and has me smiling to myself at inappropriate moments in public life.
blue hair: I have blue hair. It’s pretty.
enki bilal: His art is so amazing… can’t wait to get my hands on more of his stuff. I will molest his artwork.
happiness: I ruined Corey and my first Christmas together with this movie. Then our heroin addict roommate stole my copy. Both incidences still bring tears to my eyes.
learning: I’m a geek. I like the learning. No one can ever stop you from learning or take it from you. Yeah. Blame it on my parents (mostly my dad)
romanian: I have a language requirement, and this is what I’m doing to fill it. It’s awefully neat, but really hard as well.
sleeping: My escapism.
transmetropolitan: Thank you, Warren Ellis.

  1. Oh my god..

I saw Happiness for the first time on a few too many drugs, with my coke-addict roommate. Heh. Jesus. Freaked me out the first time, but now I absolutely love it.

I’m happy someone else has seen it! 🙂

    • it was an early christmas present from my brother, as we both love the dark humor. I played it for Corey on Christmas Eve. He got physically sick to his stomach, and claimed not to like me any more for awhile. Triumph!
      Also good: House of Yes
