does this sound like the Devil’s music to you?

People keep saying stupid stuff at the Spoon.

“Do you listen to the Devil’s music? Because I knew a guy once that wore pants like yours and he listened to the Devil’s music.”
“Does this sound like the Devil’s music to you?” (Lemon Jelly is playing)
“I don’t know, I haven’t listened to the lyrics.”

For anyone that doesn’t know, this is what Lemon Jelly is like:

And for those of you who can’t watch video at the moment (but it’s worth going back for, promise), here is what their albums tend to look like:

  1. I’ve, thus far, only heard Lemon Jelly’s “The Staunton Lick” and was a fan, but was wary of purchasing an album of their’s because of my insecurity in knowing what their general sound was like.

Thanks for sharing the video. They’re a lot more jam-band sounding than I originally had thought they would be. They are pleasant to hear though. 🙂

    • No, no.. that gentleman was equally intrigued by Lemon Jelly as Neubauten. He laughed with me when I told him the story, as we danced to The Nothing Song.

  2. The video was fucking beautiful. as is the one for “stay with you.” Thank you for introducing me to Lemon Jelly, Willow.
