Like when you need to pee in the middle of the night and you walk into the bathroom and there’s the mirror and… yeah. It’s just a thing I have.
There’s more darkenss than there should be and I’m not sure everything I’m seeing in the mirror corresponds to the room.
Ah I see. It happens. *hugs* So this book…..is it fiction, non-fiction and what is it about?
It’s fiction, though some claim that parts of it are true.
It’s about a documentary about a house that is bigger on the inside than on the outside.
I’m fairly certain that’s all anyone knows for sure.
It’s very confusing, and involving, and interesting.
I love that book. Love love love. I finished it in three days.
What is this “finished” you speak of?
This book has no “finished,” as I understand the word.
I’ve been living in that book for years now, feeling myself erode.
The walls aren’t real, or I’m not. Maybe both.
I’m scared.
This is exactly how I feel about that book. I read a friend’s copy once, then finally got it as a gidt. I simply could not get through it a second time, though I tried and tried. It really is a frightening book…The imagery can make you physically ill if you let it affect you. Yeah, I’m weird.
of course! I look forward to hearing what you think of it. I linked myself to the House of Leaves LJ community that I saw on your info page. I’m not reading too much there yet, don’t want to spoil anything.
I’m lost.
come back! Don’t be lost!
(are you actually confused or are you referencing the book?)
Mirrors in dark rooms? What’s up with that?

We’ll have to talk about it when you’re done.
