We have this running joke, Anita, Seamus, and I, that when someone says something really dumb, you just pet them and say “you’re so pretty. So pretty.”
if someone i’m talking to says/does something embarrassing, i usually do something similar – i pet them and say “just smile and look pretty”
that is similar to what one of my coworkers does. if she says something mean to me she follows it with “kisses” in a really sarcastic tone. it’s funny…and oddly enough i’m usually too busy laughing at her to be mad about whatever it is she just said. however, she said it does not work as well with her boyfriend haha.
I think I’m going to have to make an icon of that cake.
That is a fantastic idea; I must start implementing it.
