What they fail to tell you is that while it does rain for part of nearly every day, the rest of the time is only slightly overcast, and sometimes even sunny.
Phone interview went well. Face-to-face interview in the upcoming week, and another possibility started up Monday.
The people here are awesome. Went to an art show opening last night, corp goth and well-dyed hair as far as the eye could see. Warms my little heart.
Of course I’m a natural red-head!

Tonight I walked home from the club alone, violins and poetry in my ears (aren’t they often the same thing?).
Capital Hill and I had a moment, the sort of moment you share with a good friend or a lover in the morning, feet cozy under their legs, tea or coffee in hand, when you know the day is in front of you but more important is the Now.
I feel at peace here more than I ever have.
I also played hangman, Iron Bartender, and taped coasters to my head. And I’ve remained sober the whole night. I can’t remember the last time my brain operated at this level for so long.

*Please note, this will erase all data on your hard drive. Back up all important information prior to following these steps.*
There are 2 ways to access the eRecovery feature:
1. If Windows Will Start
At the windows desktop, close all open programs and windows. Press ALT (located to the left of the space bar) and F10 at the same time, then release. A program should start up called Acer eRecovery. Follow the onscreen instructions. You want to choose Recovery Actions, then Install the factory default system.
2. If Windows Will Not Start
Shut down the system. Press the power button to turn the system on, as soon as you release the power button, press ALT on the keyboard and start tapping F10. The ALT key is located to the left of the space bar and the F10 key is along the top of the keyboard. Continue holding ALT and tapping F10 as the unit boots up. It should show a screen stating “Starting Acer eRecovery”, when this screen comes up you can release the keys on the keyboard. Follow the onscreen prompts. The default password will be 000000. Next you will need to choose “recovery actions”, then on the next screen choose “restore factory default settings”. This will erase your hard drive and reinstall the original factory settings and programs.

My laptop is not registering keyboard or touch-pad input. I’m about to go perusing the internet, but does anyone have any suggestions?
However, got to spend some relaxation time with Qais last night, having lunch with Nathan today, dancing probably tomorrow night, and dancing again Monday. Until then, the quest for a job. As soon as I can get my own computer working, because surfing on a phone is no fun.
